Physical Action as Thinking Form

The exhibition will showcase original artworks by TWOONE, alongside pieces created by local youth during a creative workshop he facilitated while in South Gippsland. The title of the exhibition comes from TWOONE’s approach to his creative practice. He believes that art can begin with making a mark; and abstract thinking while creating these marks can lead to a composition that can then be built upon to create a finished artwork.

Finders Keepers

‘Finders Keepers’ is a mixed media exhibition rooted in the joy of collecting — a celebration of texture, colour, and the therapeutic act of gathering and arranging. From farm-inspired collages and retro Tuckfields tea card tins to beach assemblage photography, each work is guided by materials the artist is drawn to and a desire to create a sense of harmony where textures, forms, and fragments come together in a way that feels instinctive and deeply satisfying.

Mandy Gunn: Inter-woven – Collected, Cut, Created

This exhibition was initially showcased at the Gippsland Art Gallery earlier this year, curated by Dr. Sheridan Palmer. We are grateful for Mandy Gunn and Dr. Palmer’s support in bringing this exhibition to our region, where Mandy lives.

Mandy’s work reflects her diverse background and experiences, incorporating elements from her daily travels, coastal living, and explorations in Antarctica and Australian deserts. Looking at the waste we produce as a society, most of her work is made from found and recycled materials.

The exhibition will be on display until Monday 27 January 2025
