Frequently asked questions

Is there a cost?
No, the Carols at the Creek is a free event this year.

Why do I need to book?
There are a couple of reasons we’d like you to book – We need numbers to give the 2nd Korumburra Scouts an idea of what they may require for food and drink options on the night. Also, we want to make sure everyone can hear the beautiful music throughout the night, the number of people in attendance will determine the sound equipment used.

How do I book?
You can book online by visiting this link – www.eventbrite.com.au/e/464079593557 or you can call us on (03) 5665 1811 and we’ll help you out.

The event link to book online isn’t working, how do I book?
Please call us on (03) 5665 1811 and we will book you in.

Will there be tickets available on the night?
While we would prefer a booking, we will also have a small number of spaces available on the night for those that weren’t able to book ahead of time. If you know you can make it, and that your friends and family can make it, we’d love it if you can book ahead of the night.

When will Harry Hook be playing?
Harry Hook will be the opening music for the event, so not too long after 6pm.

When will the Coal Creek pop-up Choir/South Gippsland Concert Band be playing?
We will soon post a program to our web site and Facebook page. Keep an eye out!

When will Santa arrive?
We’ll let you know when we post the program to our web site and Facebook page

Where will the Carols be held in the Park?
They will take place at the Rotunda with attendees seated on the grass across from the Rotunda.

Do I need to bring a chair?
We will have a number of canvas deck chairs available for use but if you prefer to sit up more than these allow, we suggest bringing a portable chair such as a camp chair. Be aware the grassed area is slightly raked so you may be seated on a slight incline.

Is there disability access to the Rotunda?
All are invited to this event, no matter your ability. We will have a van available for those that need assistance getting to and from the Rotunda. If you have any questions or concerns regarding accessibility, please get in contact with us – (03) 5665 1811.

Will food be available on the night?
The 2nd Korumbura Scouts will have food and drink offerings and a coffee cart will be available on the night.

Can I bring food and drink with me?
Yes, you are welcome to bring food and drink with you. We recommend a picnic style BYO, including a picnic rug to gather together on.
